Abel Ranch can accommodate riders of varying ability and skill, from beginners to advanced. Our crew has over 70 years of ranching experience and will show you how to care for your own personal horse as well as riding and cattle herding instruction. We have spent a lifetime learning what we know. We don't expect you to learn it in a couple of days. Our hope is that you will leave here with some special memories and some "cowboy knowledge".

Each roundup will consist of only 4-8 guests & 3 wranglers, so you'll have our attention.

As you ride along the trail watch for wild life and have your cameras ready! You might have the opportunity to see mule deer, elk, antelope, sage grouse and wild turkey.

All meals will be furnished. We will sleep underneath the stars in range tents & teepees and eat out of a original chuck wagon.

We'll get acquainted around the campfire every night.

Call Cindy & Dave Abel at 406-947-5861 or email abel@midrivers.com so we can discuss and plan your custom package. .

We try very hard to do our best for all concerned.

Learning that you can't please all of the people all of the time is a hard lesson in life, but we do try our best. Our priorities are the people we meet and the relationships that are formed - after all, that is the only thing in life that one will be able to take with them in the long run.
